The George Washington Mural is located near the George Washington Memorial Parkway accessible from a path known as "The Mount Vernon Trail," a bikepath that winds along the Potomac River in north-east Alexandria. It is a beautiful walk or ride if you have never taken it, you should.

Street parking is available in and around North Royal and 3rd Street.
For those using the bikepath to visit the location coming from Old Town, the mural is located approximately one mile north of King Street and the Torpedo Factory Art Center.
